PIGEON_03/24 was updated. And to our disappointment, this 3rd edition
of the 76th term emailed to the webmaster 2 days after the Tuesday
meeting is filled with a sea of uninterupted editorial/grammatical
mistakes to be corrected. Alas. |

Bad

Got nowhere to go...Good one : Next version-up is in the process...Guess

IGSOL
is upgraded into v1.0 now. This means that the site gets operated
on a regular term, and that it isn't just 'under testing' any more. |

Here
goes IGSOL v0.6! For a while, there would be two different sets
of the IGSOL on the web.
One
is 'IGSOL_dizzy'
http://plaza1.snu.ac.kr/~kin20/
And the other 'IGSOL_neat'
http://members.tripod.com/~esj4igsol/
Please,
pay a visit to each other and tell me your favorite one.

I
ask all the members to use the HTML formated file when you send an
article to the Webmaster. You can have an article HTML formated when
you call the 'Save' or 'Save As' fuction of your favorite wordpad
and select the [*.htm] or [*.html] option. Maybe the current version
of most commercial wordpad would support it. |

current fabulous traffic jam goes on @geocities.com, Classroom 1540

Select
your favorite font for ordinary articles among EDITORIAL ( Arial 12point
), PROPOSITION ( Arial 10p ) and TOPIC ESSAY ( Verdana 10p ). It's
'Just Easy'. You just have to click on the 3 topics in turn (you can
find these on the left column ) and then put a note on the WebBoard.
I'm looking to your choice. |

Here
goes IGSOL v0.4! During the testing period, there would be two different
sets of IGSOL on the web.

'Cause
... Some testers pointed out that the Background images are indecent
to'em. Yes. It is indecent and that's the way I intended it to be.
But I don't wanna go just my way not hearing any comment. That's
why I present you another Design Set of IGSOL here. I picked up
the background image - looks like a piece of a notepad page, isn't
it? - from http://www.real.com but I laundered/toasted it my way
here. Of course, some other frame works and table layouts were transformed
anyway. And I need more testers and critics.

left top of the screen. |

I'm
gonna plant a RealAudio button which enables most of the visitors
to make use of a cuttingedge Audio/Video Online Streaming technology
on the site IGSOL. Tell me more about these kinds of things if you're
interested. |

#@$%^&*!)@$
............ I got really shocked when I tested the Look&Feel
interface of the IGSOL on the Netscape Navigator 4.04 screen this
morning. The font images of Nav. were collaped to the ugly ones while
my IE 3.02 was typing those letters in a pretty good shape. Great!
The famous Inconsistency on the web! Wait a second, my boys. I'll
throw it fine on any web brower... |

WebBoard
and SignPanel is going well but not perfectly. Just throw a try and
put a note to me on Problem Type and your browser name with the version
number. |

I
picked up a font named Verdana for the main sentences of the articles
in the PIGEON section. Do they look fine? Please, compare TopicEssay
(Verdana) with Editorial (Arial), paying attention to the Readability/Look&Feel
between the 2 fonts and then, put a note on Webboard. |

IGSOL
was first attempted to be built in Mar. 5, 1998 with the unregistered
version of NamoWebEditor 2.01 and the shareware version of PaintShopPro
4.12 with the help of MS Internet Explorer 3.02 on the 1024*800*256
screen mode. If you happen to use your terminal on the 800*600 screen
mode, I strongly recommend you to try to be on 1024*800. It will
give you a lot better landscape when you dance on the screen and
keyboard. (You don't know how to convert your screen mode to 1024*800?
Just ask me how.
This
page will soon be fulfilled with a variety of reporting articles
on IGS by the beloved junior staffers and ... I Guess so.
The
main point of leveling the web ground was Designing a basic structure
for Easy/Simple Maintenance.
